Optimal lap. The optimal lap adds up the best of 30 mini-sectors from one driver’s laps in one car on one day. Days come from the laps’ GPS time, so laps of different days never add up — not even within one session. Standing and flying laps count together.
How verification works. Upload the raw file from your logger — a RaceChrono .rcz, or RaceBox, VBOX, Harry's, any GPX. The server checks the bridge and gantry crossings, the full bridge-to-gantry trace, gaps and jumps, and whether the logger's own speed channel agrees with the positions. Start type is detected from the data. Gold adds an onboard video and two drivers who were there.
